It is again time to take out the garbage and the days are getting longer. Therefore it must be Monday and April. No longer am I able to know my place in the universe by when grades are due. On my daily walk through the streets of good old Eagle Rock I saw five lizards and that is probably a good omen. Headlines stated that there is a vast oil deposit in California’s Monterey Shale Formation. Light sweet crude is at $100.71 a barrel today. In 1935 when some producers were selling more than New Deal quotas the price dropped to 10 cents a barrel. Gasoline was really cheap but then the down side of the situation was the Great Depression. When there is an downside there is always a little good news. The Black Plague wiped out a great portion of the population but the wages of surviving laborers went up.
Just say a video about a cat cafe in Tokyo. Customers pay about 8 or 9 dollars an hour to feed and pet cats. Many of them cannot have the felines in their apartments. I had a couple of cats they would probably have paid to not pet. One was a little gray cat that was a mighty hunter but only wanted to be petted a couple of times a year. Jellybean was the other and she brought home gloves, socks, ivy leaves and such. She had a tendency bite on occasion. A new thought for a pet cafe, a woman helps rescue tree sloths when their homes are cut down. It would be a really trendy tree sloth petting cafe. The woman says that even though they have really long claws they would not rip you apart like the Wolverine. Now to take my blue, black and green cans to the front curb. Have a great Monday, April 7th, live long and prosper and may the odds forever be in your favor.
