Bob Cole’s  Eagle Rock Blog

Have taken a long walk through the highways and byways of my neighborhood. It is cool and the hills are alive. Love the green that has not been abundant in the past few years. Is it a good sign? Will it make us happier in the coming months? An any thing make us happier in the coming months? What if we had giant otters, like the ones who lived in Southwest China some 6 million years ago?  I feel a bit sad about the extinction of the Tasmanian Wolf. The last one, Benjamin, died in a zoo in 1936. It had a bigger brain than the Tasmanian Devil. I think most people also have a brain bigger than that of the Tasmanian Devil.

Just glanced at an article that said floating cities might have a future if sea levels keep rising. Could Eagle Rock be one of them? Will the aliens in Area 51 be deported and where will they go? Could they one day have their own floating  city? Aren’t these exciting times? Just read that the Doomsday Clock is set at something like 2:30. Brings back memories of the 50’s and 60’s. I do not think this will become the next great extinction. Remember love the greeness of our hills and try not to worry. Perhaps worry is what happened to the Neanderthals.
